This displays intensity and precision, with notes of fleur de sel and sage underscoring grapefruit and white peach flavors. Shows a bit of crunch in texture. Long, inviting and quite balanced.

Southern Right is a small Pinotage and Sauvignon blanc specialist, situated in the beautiful Hemel-en-Arde Valley, behind an old fishing village, just 2km from the cold South Atlantic Ocean.

Low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soils are planted to Pinotage, while the lighter structured, free draining Table mountain sandstone derived soils are planted to Sauvignon Blanc.

Names after the rare Southern Right whales which visit the Walker Bay between May and December each year, Southern Right makes a contribution to their conservation in the area with each bottle sold.
