Chapel Down English Rose is a delicate rose which epitomises English summer with aromas of strawberries and cream.  Redcurrants and floral notes on the palate lead to a crisp, refreshing finish.

Fruit is whole-bunched pressed with the majority of colour coming from the Rondo and Regent rather than from skin maceration, this gives a light, smooth characteristic to the wine.  Cool fermentation and early clarification also helps with the light effortless style.

Great served chilled with barbeques, salads and grilled shellfish. 

Grape variety - 57% Pinot Noir, 16% Rondo, 7% Early Pinot Noir, 7% Regent, 7% Pinot Meunier, 4% Chardonnay, 2% Dornfelder
